Our Acceptance Criteria
AT LEAST ONE OF THE FOLLOWING MUST BE TRUE: |
| Attorney graduated from a top-tier law school or graduated in top 10% of the class if he or she attended a middle-tier law school. |
| Attorney is (or was for at least one year) employed in a law firm with 100 or more practicing attorneys. |
| Attorney has worked, for at least one year, for a government agency with oversight over his/her practice area (e.g., tax attorney worked for the IRS, patent attorney worked for the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office). |
| Attorney has played a leading role in closing complex business transactions. (For example, attorney has substantial experience counseling national and multinational companies on issues relating to business formation and structuring, commercial contracts, intellectual property, cross-border transactions, employment law, mergers and acquisitions, debt financing, private equity financing, private placements, public offerings, real estate development, or taxation.) |
| Attorney has played a leading role in managing complex litigation. (For example, attorney has substantial experience litigating matters involving arcane, highly technical or otherwise complex legal issues, numerous pre-trial motions, complex calculations and large quantities of data, class action claims, or numerous parties .) |
| Attorney has an AVVO rating of 7 or above |
| Attorney has a Martindale Hubbel rating of AV® Preeminent™ or BV® Distinquished™ |
| TO REGISTER WITH QUIGAL, AN ATTORNEY MUST ALSO MEET THE FOLLOWING TWO REQUIREMENTS: |
| Practicing law for at least 3 years |
| No history of disciplinary action. |
NOTES:
1. Acceptance as a Quigal attorney member is at Quigal, LLC's sole and absolute discretion.
2. If your registration is accepted, your name will appear in our search results if and only if we have not already obtained full coverage for your selected zip codes.
3. After acceptance and once an attorney has recceived validated feedback from 10 Quigal users, an attorney must maintain a 75% (Satisfactory) Quigal rating.
